It's easy to see happiness as a destination to arrive at, as something that we aspire to get to. But maybe it's simpler than that, perhaps it's subtly weaved into our day-to-day lives. It could be that burst of laughter, a quiet walk alone, a comforting hug, or anything else that puts you at peace. Being the neurotic over-thinker that I know I am, anything that can quiet my mind and make me feel at ease, even for a second, is something that I hold on to. Maybe instead of a destination, it's a bunch of the little things that make up happiness. Maybe, just maybe, happiness is within reach.
